The Narva Museum, in collaboration with artists from the "Westernvalley" association, is delighted to present the exhibition "Perspective on the Moon", dedicated to the creativity of the outstanding Narva artist Luule Dmitrieva (1948–2023).

Luule Dmitrieva was a vivid and unique figure in the Estonian art world. Her work, often inspired by symbols from the Stone Age, resonated with people's hearts and minds. Luule's pieces can be found today in museums and private collections in Estonia, Sweden, Russia, and the United Kingdom. She was not only a talented artist but also a teacher who educated young people in Narva and Ivangorod in visual arts for over 30 years.

The "Perspective on the Moon" exhibition showcases contemporary works by the "Westernvalley" art association. It features paintings, graphics, applied arts, design, and photography by Narva artists. The presented works reflect a special "lunar" perspective through which the artists view the world, revealing the beauty of ordinary objects and the elusive moments of our existence to the viewers.

We invite everyone to visit the exhibition and immerse themselves in the world of art, where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, and moments become eternal. The "Perspective on the Moon" exhibition is not only a tribute to Luule Dmitrieva's talent but also an opportunity to see the world through the eyes of Narva artists.

The exhibition is open for visits from December 17 to March 17, 2024, at the Narva Museum's Art Gallery.
