Lecture “The Disintegration of Things”
Sooner or later, everything breaks. The older the art, the more it consists of fragments. Fragments retain, for a time, the object they once were. But at some point, the object in the fragments is no more, and the fragments disappear into the ground. A conservator's work constantly moves between the idea of the once whole object and its complete disappearance.
The lectures are held in a hybrid format: both at Narva Museum (Rondeel, 3rd floor) and online (on Narva Museum's YouTube channel).
