Welcome!

The Art Gallery at Narva Museum is located in the old storehouse erected on Gloria Bastion in the second half of the 18th century, at Vestervalli 21. The exhibitions in the gallery showcase the artistic heritage of Narva and Estonia, professional modern art and fields adjacent to visual culture.

The gallery places special emphasis on the versatile mediation of exhibitions and everything related to art. Kindergarteners and students from general education schools are offered a wide range of museum-based educational programmes; there are family days, excursions and art evenings for adults; and city camps are held here for children.

Annual major events include Museum Night, Artists' Day and the ‘Summer Carousel’ urban camp.

Since June 2021 our new permanent exhibition ‘Life or Karma? Stories of Narva’ is open. The aim of Narva Museum Art Gallery’s permanent exhibition is to showcase our rich and diverse art collection of nearly 1,700 works.
