Curator Tour at the "Corner of the Park. Long-Awaited Meeting" Exhibition, Andrei and Orest Kormašov (EST)
Event overview
On October 23 and 24, the Narva Museum Art Gallery will host tours led by Tallinn-based artists, restorers, collectors, and curators of the exhibitions "Icon Room" and "Corner of the Park. Long-Awaited Meeting" — Andrei and Orest Kormašov.
At the "Corner of the Park. Long-Awaited Meeting" exhibition, we will discuss the origins of the exhibition and the ancient temple that served as its inspiration. We will also talk about the unique features of the collection and the design of the space. In addition, we will focus on a few selected works — examining them closely and reflecting on their meaning.
The exhibition features over 160 items from around the world. Some of the exhibits are being displayed publicly for the first time in decades. Visitors will see valuable paintings, porcelain figurines, and household items that entered the museum's collection before World War II.
Duration: 60 minutes
The tour is included in the gallery ticket price.
The number of participants is limited.
