On October 23 and 24, the Narva Museum Art Gallery will host tours led by Tallinn-based artists, restorers, collectors, and the curators of two exhibitions: "Icon Room" and "Corner of the Park. Long-Awaited Meeting" — Andrei and Orest Kormašov.
On October 24 at 16:00, a thematic tour of the "Icon Room" exhibition will take place: "Who Was the Prophet Elijah from the Old Testament?" The tour will be conducted in Russian by Orest Kormašov.
The exhibition showcases a wide range of icons from different eras, levels of craftsmanship, styles, and regions. By fate, they all ended up in the Narva Museum, each with its unique history. During the tour, Orest Kormašov will demonstrate how an icon can be interpreted and the stories behind its creation.
