Event overview

The Art Gallery of the Narva Museum invites you to a guided tour of the exhibition "A Corner of the Park. A Long-Awaited Meeting". This exhibition offers an opportunity to get acquainted with rare and valuable items that have been preserved in the Narva Museum and its predecessor museums from the mid-19th century until World War II.

The exhibition features over 160 exhibits brought from different parts of the world. Some exhibits are being publicly displayed for the first time in many decades. The collection's highlights include paintings by renowned Narva artists Aleksander Normak and Ardo Sivadi, as well as works by famous artists Ivan Aivazovsky and Ivan Shishkin.

You will be accompanied on your journey into the special world of classical art by the cultural historian, author of numerous scientific articles on art history, and director of the Narva Museum, Maria Smorževskihh-Smirnova (PhD).
