Event overview

The long-awaited summer has finally arrived, and it's time to enjoy every minute outdoors, soaking up every ray of sunshine! This is the time to boost your health and energy, make new friends, and immerse yourself in new cultural experiences and creative ideas!

In July, we invite children aged 7 to 11 to Narva Museum's summer camp, where we combine active sports activities with cultural and educational sessions. Each day will be full of active movement, as well as exciting history, culture, and creativity lessons that will help children develop their intellect and imagination. Our workshops from partners will add bright impressions and new knowledge to the program!

Camp Program:

  • Pall!Ball!Мяч!

Round, bright, bouncing, and flying! Ball day – we’ll have basketball workshops from professional players, games from our grandparents’ childhood, quizzes, relays, and creative activities on "round" themes.

  • Children and Flying Discs

We will go hiking to Nut Hill (Äkkeküla) and explore the sports area, learning about exciting opportunities for active leisure. We will fly on discs (tubing) and continue the theme of flying discs on the castle grounds.

  • You’re a Sailor, I’m a Sailor

We will visit the Young Sailors Club and learn all about water sports opportunities in Narva. We will continue the water and fish theme in the castle courtyard: we will study the inhabitants of our river, organize a fishing competition, and enjoy treats fresh from a real campfire.

  • Strong as a Rock!

We will go through a young soldier's course at the Estonian Defense League: learn how much soldier equipment weighs, how to behave in emergency situations, and how to maintain a fighting and sporting spirit! We will continue the day with unusual sports games, learning about their formation and changes over the centuries.

  • Goal!

We will visit the legendary Narva football team Narva Trans! We will learn the secrets of skill and good shape from our football stars. We will learn to make sharp passes and effective tackles. We will complement the acquired knowledge with a fun quiz and ball games.

  • Mental Health Day

We will take a break from the active sports week and engage in creating harmony and contemplating the inner world. This day will be filled with meditation, art therapy, balancing the space inside and outside, music workshops, and meetings with therapy animals.

  • Maps and Roads

We will go through a young tourist’s course: learn to use maps and plan routes. We will test our strength and ingenuity in a castle quest. We will finish the week with a visit to the motorcycle museum, learning about motorsport opportunities and petting the roaring two-wheeled pets of the museum.
