More of the old city of Narva has survived than previously assumed. For example, it was unknown that one of the largest carved frames in Estonia, executed in the Baroque style from the Jaanov Church, has partially survived. This may be a small but significant discovery for the history of the city, confirmed during the "Narva Wooden Baroque" project.

Together with specialists and students from the Pallas University of Applied Sciences and the Estonian Academy of Arts, Narva Museum is uncovering previously unknown historical treasures.

The first phase of the "Narva Wooden Baroque" project is now coming to an end! Thanks to this collaboration, we have done extensive work and made many interesting discoveries, which we will share with the public on October 24, during a lecture-presentation about the findings of these studies.

The lecture will take place in a hybrid format: in the hall on the third floor in the Rondel Tower (former restaurant) and on Zoom.

Booking for the Zoom lecture ends one hour before the event starts. Register for the lecture.

The link for online participants will be sent to the email address provided at registration one hour before the event starts.
