08.03.2023 A new exhibition "Myths and Heroes", sculptures by Raffaele Mondazzi, opened at the Narva Museum Art Gallery.

The exhibition Myths and Heroes is about the confrontation between good and evil, and shows us the charm of antiquity in the same way as the ancient Athenian masters, but interpreted and complemented by harsh lines that convey the suffering of matter in the hands of the master. In his other works, Mondazzi is less robust in his use of materials - he almost seems to return to the Michelangelo or Canova school, his sculptures taking on a refined and fluid form, creating a relationship between timeless beauty and austere grandeur.

We invite you to discover Raffaele Mondazzi's Myths and Heroes in the Art Gallery of the Narva Museum. The exhibition of the Italian sculptor's work opens on 10 March.
