06.10.2023 Serial "Border Fortress" on the hunt for a museum robot
We are pleased to announce that the mini-series "Border Fortress" is one of the nominees for the Museum Erot Award, which is awarded annually to the best museums in Estonia. The competition covers a wide range of categories, including outstanding achievements in the fields of exhibitions, research, education and marketing.
The "Border Fortress" project is the result of a collaboration between the Narva Museum, the Narva City Development and Economic Development Agency and representatives of the Estonian creative industry. The series is directed by Artur Tyulenev, cinematographed by Iurii Zhiltsov and written by Marat Alyutdinov, and features a whole cast of young and experienced actors from Narva. The music was written by composer and sound director Dmitri Piibe.
We hope that our innovative work in the field of museum marketing will be highly appreciated by the jury and will be one of the nominees in the "Best Marketing Work of the Year" category.
"Border Fortress is not just a collection of promotional videos highlighting the city's values. It's a modern and up-to-date content that tries to tell engaging stories and show familiar tourist attractions from unexpected angles. "Border Fortress" is a kind of historical comedy that allows us to see familiar sights in a new light.
We are currently in the final stages of dubbing the series into Estonian and English and are actively preparing for the premiere scheduled for October.
We share with you some photos from a summer day on the set.
The project was made possible thanks to Estonia's EU External Borders Programme.
