At the Narva Museum Art Gallery, from July 4th to 29th on weekdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the creative children's camps "Summer Carousel" (ages 7-11) take place, where children are awaited by fun team games and quizzes, creative sessions, educational excursions, theatrical performances, and of course, new friends who are just as enthusiastic about art!

The cost of the camp includes lunch and a delicious tea break.

First Session "What is Art Made Of?"

  • July 11-15 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Russian
  • July 25-29 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Russian (repeat program)

During this session, children will be introduced to various artistic techniques and fascinating pages from the history of world art and the city of Narva.

Program for the week includes:

  • What are paints made of? Creating egg tempera paint from readily available materials.
  • Light show under the dome of the Alexander Church and drawing on glass with stained-glass paints.
  • Textiles: Weaving and painting.
  • Creating a fresco and an educational walk with a scientific staff member to the Church of the Narva Icon of the Mother of God to learn about the art of wall painting.
  • Visiting an animal shelter. Creating an animated film.
  • Ancient Greece: Making theatrical masks and enacting legends.
  • End of the week: A fun team quiz for young art historians "Jeopardy!" – with prizes and diplomas!
  • Other workshops and games outdoors and in the Northern Courtyard of the castle.

Price: €100 per session (5 days) per participant. The price includes hot lunches, tea breaks, and art materials. Maximum number of participants in each camp is 20 people. Programs are conducted in Russian.
