"It is surprising that we see trees and no longer marvel at them." - Ralph Waldo Emerson.

In the modern endless race of life, there is often a need to pause, stop, and truly appreciate the moment and oneself in it. It's not surprising that for centuries, as it is today, places of power where a person can restore emotional balance and harmoniously tune their inner strings have been and are natural areas of the earth. Sometimes, circumstances or internal and external events do not favor the presence of natural green zones in cities, and then humans step in - surrounding themselves with man-made parks, gardens, and squares.

During the "Gardens and Parks" tour, participants will take a walk through two green areas of Narva: the route will start from the youngest park in the city, "EV 100", where the tree canopies are still tender, and will end in the "Dark Garden", where the towering tree trunks recall stories from centuries past.

The tour starts at the sports complex at Rakvere 22d Street. Free parking is available. It ends opposite the building at Koitula 8.

The tour will be interesting for both residents and guests of the city; for those who are just discovering the pages of Narva's history, as well as for those who would like to expand the boundaries of ordinary sightseeing tours and discover something new for themselves.
