Spring Family Day at Narva Castle

Spring is a time of renewal, nature’s awakening, and long-awaited reunions. For centuries, the arrival of spring has been celebrated with special joy – families would gather, play traditional games, and welcome the first warm days with excitement.

On April 19 at 11:00, we invite families with children to join us for cheerful outdoor games that were once played in Estonia over a hundred years ago. The program will also feature a fun challenge for true spring fishing enthusiasts – can you guess which fish live in the Narva River? No fishing rods required, but excitement and good mood are guaranteed!

Afterwards, everyone is invited for a cozy tea break followed by a creative spring workshop. You’ll make a funny little pot with “live hair” – decorate a face on it and plant tasty herbs inside that you can grow at home!
