Event overview

Did you know that the Narva Museum’s collection consists of over 84,000 items and works of art? It’s one of the largest collections in Estonia. Each artifact, painting, or artwork housed in the museum carries a unique story—whether it’s the tale of its creation or how it was acquired.

This autumn, we’re launching a special series of Wednesday meetups at the Art Gallery, where our guides, curators, and top experts in art history will share fascinating stories and reveal the secrets hidden behind each item.

We welcome you every Wednesday at 5:30 PM.

Join the tour, which is included in the gallery ticket price, and discover new aspects of history.

In September, you’ll be guided through the world of art by cultural historian and author of numerous scientific articles on art history, Maria Smorzhevskikh-Smirnova (PhD), the head of Narva Museum, as well as collection curator Svetlana Andreeva and museum researcher Yulia Khlystun.

Don't miss your chance to learn more about the masterpieces housed in the walls of the Narva Art Gallery!
