Event overview

On March 7, Narva Museum invites visitors to special tours dedicated to the events of World War II and the bombing of Narva.

At Narva Castle, during the exhibition “The Unforgotten City”, we will mentally travel to pre-war Old Narva. Preserved architectural fragments, decorative details and images help to feel the atmosphere of the lost city and understand the meaning of its symbols. During the meeting we will also uncover several “mysteries” — for example, the significance of lion sculptures, weather vanes and wooden church sculpture — to form a more complete picture of the city that the war changed forever.
