31.10.2026 11:00 / Narva Museum Art Gallery

Event overview

On 31 October, we invite families to join us for “The Secrets of the Pumpkin” at the Art Gallery. Embark on a journey into a world of autumn colours, mysterious stories, and creative discoveries.

Together, we will learn why people once believed that, on this special night, the boundary between the world of the living and the world of spirits became especially thin, and how pumpkin lanterns were used to light the way and ward off unwelcome visitors from the other side.

We will uncover the secrets of autumn’s most iconic symbol, explore works of art, and create our own genuine pumpkin lanterns: bright, unique, and just a little mysterious.

The event will be held in Estonian and Russian.

Location: Narva Museum Art Gallery (Vestervalli 21, Narva)
