Event overview

November 9 at 11:00
Narva Castle invites families to celebrate the opening of Nordic Literature Week in a joyful atmosphere.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of Astrid Lindgren’s beloved book Pippi Longstocking — a story translated into more than 80 languages and cherished by children around the world.

The event at Narva Castle, held in Russian, is dedicated to the brave, kind, and vibrant Pippilotta Rollgardinia Longstocking — a girl who teaches us to believe in ourselves, be courageous, and find joy in the most unexpected things.
Children aged 7–12 will dive into Pippi’s colorful world, where imagination knows no bounds. Participants will enjoy fun games, a creative workshop, a cooking masterclass, and discover what it truly means to be independent, friendly, and curious — just like Pippi herself.
