Event overview

On 24 February at 7:18 AM, the flag of the Republic of Estonia will be ceremonially raised at Narva Castle.

Traditional Family Day from 8:00 AM


We welcome everyone to join our workshops and guided tours!
On this day, museum tickets cost €2.40 and the family ticket €4.80.

In the Reconditioning Room

  • Kaitseliit theme camp with the participation of Noored Kotkad and Naiskodukaitse “Life in the Forest”

  • 9:00, 11:00, and 13:00 – practical lectures on how to act in crisis situations, along with an introduction to the history and modern role of the Estonian Defence League.

In the Refectory

  • 8:00–14:00 – workshop: craft your own bracelet in Estonia’s national colours
  • 10:00 – folk dance workshop
  • 15:00 – STRING VIRTUOSOS concert
    (Johanna Vahermägi – viola, Estonia; Yevhen Kostrytskyi – violin, Ukraine)
    A festive chamber concert blending the musical traditions of the two countries.

Guided tours of the exhibitions

  • “Symbols on the Border” – 8:00 in Estonian, 9:00 in Russian
  • New exhibition on Scouting in Estonia – 11:00 in Estonian, 12:00 in Russian
  • “Layered Narva” – 13:00 in Estonian, 14:00 in Russian

The café is open in the Castle Tea Room from 7:00 to 16:00.

A photo booth will be operating in the castle, where you can take pictures and receive printed photos on the spot.
